As printers we recognise our operation results in the generation of waste and consumption of natural resources. We have therefore implemented an environmental policy and are committed to operating our business responsibly and in compliance with all environmental legislation and approved codes of practice relating to the print industry.
As one of the first printers in the UK to switch to the waterless Karat DI presses we have actively reduced our carbon footprint eliminating the use of water and VOC’s (volatile organic compounds i.e. harmful greenhouse gases). Using on-board plate making and chemistry free plates, the Karat reduces the need for make ready which results in the saving of paper and electricity. All inks used are vegetable based and our paper is sourced from merchants carrying the Forest Stewardship Certification (FSC).
It is our policy to carry out all measures as reasonably practicable to meet, exceed and develop all necessary or desirable requirements and continually improve environmental performance through best practice.
